A new approach to compliance
Organisations are facing increased regulatory pressures to demonstrate minimal levels of controls and risk reduction measures. Executives are faced with the need to drive compliance in the face of lower budgets and less resources, this makes compliance and more importantly security challenging. This session will outline and provide guidelines on how to approach compliance with security and governance as drivers setting up the building blocks for compliance to multiple standards and reduced long term costs associated with managing compliance to separate standards in a reactive way.

New Requirements? More standards? Less Budget? A Unified Approach
Changes expected to the PCI DSS place additional emphasis on the need for organizations to ensure that all network locations where cardholder data is present are included in the scope of the PCI DSS assessment. In this session IAP will present a scoping methodology and a real life example to help to manage evolving risks, threats, to create adequate compliance documentation and to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
